Key Areas of Responsibility.
The role holder will coordinate and assist other engineers and selected specialist contractors in the maintenance, repair, construction and refurbishment of new or modified services.
Ensure that engineers working under their direction, including 3rd party service engineers or contractors and other University staff, work to required quality and safety standards.
To recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to improve production efficiency and reliability.
To ensure the Engineering department provides a high level of service to the business by delivering planned maintenance, service and reactive repair work for all electro-mechanical equipment across Group Print and Operations locations.
The maintenance engineer will be working for a leading Manufacturing business at their factory in the Cambridge area and you will be responsible for all manufacturing and packaging machinery in the state of the art factory.
The succesful maintenance engineer needs to be multi skilled and hold an engineering qualification and be available to work a days and nights shift pattern.
