Note, this position will offer flexibility to work from home 4 days per week with a min of 1 days per week in office. As Editor, your main responsibility will be to curate and deliver high-quality content across multiple platforms, setting the agenda for the convenience channel. Your role involves leading a team to produce unparalleled news and insights that drive engagement and support the growth of independent retailers and suppliers. Collaboration with various teams is essential to maintain reputation for excellence in content and trusted relationships within the industry. Duties and responsibilities include: Source, write, commission, and publish compelling business news and insights relevant to the convenience market. Establish yourself as a thought leader through regular columns and editorials. Motivate the editorial team to consistently deliver outstanding content that drives engagement. Develop and execute editorial strategies focused on engagement and commercial targets. Build and maintain a motivated team, ensuring effective hiring and retention practices. Cultivate a respected profile within the industry, engaging with key issues and trends. Host forums and events to promote our brands. Ensure all content is legally compliant. Participate in all aspects of production. Manage costs and adhere to budgetary constraints. Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity What do you need?
