Creating and maintaining spreadsheets using Excel Manage all category admin tasks. Maintaining accurate data bases. Supporting Buyers with the organisation of samples Dealing with issues / in a timely manner Review competitor pricing. Arrange and attend Supplier Meetings when required and minute takingAssist the Buyer with the day to day running of the range and samples. Assist the Buyer with compiling weekly Competitor Shopping Reports to highlight competitor activity, missed opportunities & promotional activity, utilising websites, store visits and magazines to complete the report. Creation of supplier and new product set up. Building relationships with internal commercial function and suppliers Adhere to buying milestones within the critical path. Supporting Buyers throughout the range building process. Skills and Knowledge... Excellent attention to detail. A good understanding of Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint Good communication skills, confident in communicating both internally and externally. Comfortable with high volume workload. Strong problem-solving capabilities, using initiative to solve queries in a timely manner. Mobility must have a licence and own car. Experience of working in an administrative role is desirable. Previous Retail experience is desirable. Some knowledge of the marketplace (Retail) GCSE level Maths / English/Degree level qualification is desirable About us... You will be working for a company that are a leading retail giant supplying technology, service and support to its customers. We can offer part time, flexible working days; this would also suit candidates looking for weekend work. To be considered for a driver's mate role, candidates must either have a valid basic DBS in place, or this will be applied for through us. Candidates must attend an induction day on site at the company to be considered for the role on TUESDAY 11TH JUNE 2024 AT 10.00AM for approximately 4 hours. We are looking for personable and friendly individuals who can demonstrate a high level of customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. You will be assisting your driver with delivering and sometimes installation of a range of different products at customers' homes. This is a physically demanding role as heavy lifting of domestic items is required; you will be working as a two-person team and therefore you should display a high level of teamwork and professionalism. Job role: Assisting a 3.5T or 7.5 Tonne Driver Liaising with clients face-to-face and via telephone Multi-drop deliveries to customers across the West Midlands (On average 2530 drops per day) Operating a tail lift Heavy lifting Assisting with the installation of White Goods Operating a PDA and completion of relevant paperwork Candidate requirements: Physically able to heavy lift and handball Driving licence is preferred (not essential) Possess excellent customer service skills and represent the company in both a positive and professional manner Be a team player who is reliable, flexible and can manage time efficiently Pay and hours: £11.50 PER HOUR 7:00am start time Varied and flexible working days The company operate a 7-day service so to be considered for this role you MUST be flexible and be able to work weekends Previous experience working with White Goods would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
