The interim post holder, Reporting to the Compliance Manager, will be working within a team of Building Officers responsible for the Facilities Management of the Councils Corporate Landlord Estate, retained School Estate and other building assets around the borough, providing advice to building users in relation to building related operational use, particularly with regards to Fire Assurance.
There will be a specific requirement to review and update all fire Risk assessments under PAS79 standard, and to compile and report any actions/issues identified.
This specific role will be to revising/renewing and completing Fire Risk Assessments and Health and Safety Assessment via site surveys and desk top analysis.
A full time Senior HR Consultant role, initially agency for up to 12 weeks with potential for a contract with RMBC for up to 12 months.

The post holder will supervise HR Consultants in delivery of the full employee lifecycle and change management, providing appropriate support and guidance as required.
The post holder will provide Human Resources support and day to day advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and employment law to managers and employees ensuring that council policies and procedures are followed appropriately.
The post holder will proactively manage an individual caseload of employee relations and attendance management cases including complex and sensitive casework, supporting managers in undertaking employee relations investigations and hearings, attendance management meetings, capability meetings and other procedures of the Council whilst liaising with managers, employees and trade union representatives to seek resolution of HR/workforce issues, recommending action or support as appropriate.
The post holder will carry out analysis and interpretation of different types of data from a variety of sources and produce management information as required using the metrics to proactively identify issues, trends and effective solutions.
