Nursery Practitioner Job Type: Full-time (Potential Permanent Opportunity) Location: Market Rasen area Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: Competitive Reed Education are currently exclusively supporting a lovely nursery in the Market Rasen area with their recruitment for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner. To cover a maternity, they require someone to begin in September 2024 however there will be an opportunity to begin in the summer holidays covering holiday club. The role has some flexibility to days and hours worked. The hours will be between 35 - 40 depending on the candidate and can be split over 4 or 5 days. The nursery will consider hiring a permanent member of staff or will ask them to begin on a temporary basis first. The role is initially for a year but as the nursery look to expand their numbers, there may be opportunities for permanent employment to continue. The nursery is small with less than 30 children on roll, meaning the team is small but very close-knit. The staff work extremely closely together to plan, educate and inspire the children and so you would be joining a supportive, friendly and passionate team. Day to Day of the Role: Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop. Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe, assess, and record each child's progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues. Maintain a clean and organised setting that meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment. Attend staff meetings and participate in training and development opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Proven experience working in a nursery setting. An enhanced DBS check with child barred list (this can be applied for through Reed). Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. TA- Behaviour Specialist Role- 3 or 5 days per week, temporary or permanent Pay- £85 per day Location- LN8 A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team of a wonderful school in LN8 as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management. The school would ideally like someone who is able to work for 32.5 hours per week over 5 days, but would also consider an exceptional practitioner who is available for 3 days. The school are searching for an experienced teaching assistant to work with a child in Year 3 who has challenging behaviour. You will be expected to support learning, assist during lessons and encourage positive behaviour on a daily basis. The school is a fairly small, country school with a strong senior leadership team and fantastic resources. The role is to begin in September 2024 and will be on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities: Supporting the child as necessary. Working collaboratively alongside the class teacher to help monitor understanding and plan next steps. Helping to prepare additional resources the classroom environment and activities ready for the day and the lessons. Work closely with the child's family to develop an understanding of needs and maintain this communication. Taking part in school trips, events and activities as a 1:1 TA for the child. Attending any additional CPD as required. Following the school's policy for behaviour and maintaining high standards. Reporting safeguarding disclosures or concerns as necessary to the designated safeguarding lead.
