They're seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who is interested in all aspects of product development, including concept generation, prototyping, testing, analysis, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be adept at delivering robust and thoroughly tested mechanical design solutions and leading the mechanical development of new product development projects. Main Duties: 3D CAD design Design and develop new machinery Prototype and test designs Translate customer requirements to specifications Test feasibility of customer requirements Produce BOM's Work as part of a team and on individual projects Skills & Experience Required: Experienced in the full product lifecycle Strong 3D CAD skills Produce manufacturing drawings Experienced in designing special purpose machinery/capital equipment Knowledge of fabrication, machining and assembly techniques Hands on and practicalThe salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
