My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive team based in central Cardiff.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and ideally experience completing flood risk assessments or hydraulic modelling.
Candidates are required to have a strong background in numeracy (preferably a strong A level or GCSE in Mathematics or Science) and an interest mathematics, data management and/or coding.

Candidates will be responsible for assisting Consultants / Actuaries on the design, funding, administration and communication of pension schemes; helping Clients manage a variety of benefit related risks; guiding Clients when formulating the shape of future pension provisions and delivering innovative solutions.
Experience
Candidates need to have previous experience of working within the actuarial / pensions arena.
