Main Duties of the Transport Co-ordinator based in Blackburn
Coordinate the customer orders daily regarding transportation, drivers and 3rd party hauliers, and communicate information to the customers and all involved.
Ensure strong communication channels throughout the internal team, as well as drivers and haulier companies, ensuring that your customer is in the loop every step of the way regarding their deliveries.
Execute the daily delivery schedule, involving planning routes efficiently and flexibly, using any changes made to maximise efficiency as well as maintain customer service.
