The role

As our Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the businesses performance and future growth by enhancing the way the business makes decisions. You will be responsible for collecting and analysing data to identify trends and patterns that inform future business decisions. Your duties include complex data modelling, designing data analysis methodologies and compiling reports to present to the team and senior management.

Duties:

  • Responsible for leading analysis, development, and maintenance of data models and dashboards.
  • How: Support the production of the management packs: Develop Monthly, Quarterly Reports - (MBR / QBR)
  • Support the production of the Client packs - (MBR / QBR )
  • Develop & Publish Periodic Performance Reports - Cross functional
  • Development a Roadmap of data analysis across all areas of the business to review business performance:
  • Team Performance - Identify trends in performance, penetration, margin and other KPI's
  • Financial Performance - Identify trends and report on KPI's
  • Productivity Performance - Identify trends in performance in productivity, OTIF, Returns, QC, etc.
  • Market Intelligence (Industry and external) - Identify trends in industry and external.
  • Utilize reporting tools to design visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Create dashboards that provide actionable insights, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses 11- Document reporting requirements, data definitions, and report design specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing reports and dashboards effectively.
  • Support the growth of the business by taking lead on number of analyst projects within the business.
  • Act as a point of contact for any reporting-related queries or issues.

Essential (Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in reporting requirements gathering and collaborating with end-users.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of Power BI functionalities, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Understanding of database structures and relationships.
  • Knowledge of best practices in data modelling and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data integrity and consistency.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new reporting tools as needed.
  • Basic programming skills (Python or R) and cloud platform knowledge (Azure) are desirable. Technologies
