Position: Interim Head of Transactional Finance
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: Up to £75,000 p/a

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in transactional finance, overseeing AP/AR/Cash/Banking? Trinity House Group is working with a high-turnover business operating business in Birmingham City Centre to hire a Head of Transactional Finance on a 12-month contract.
Role Overview:
- Lead and manage the transactional finance team, ensuring high performance and development.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Develop and implement best practices and process improvements.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and support during system upgrades and implementations.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable but NOT ESSENTIAL.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-turnover business.
- Strong knowledge of transactional finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and implement improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
