This organisation has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. They've been a prominent organisation within the city for a number of years and they have gone through an impressive period of growth in recent times. As a result of this expansion, they are looking to bring on a talented and intelligent Assistant Finance Business Partner into their team to operate in a hybrid working style. The position provides some incredible exposure and experience to the budgeting and forecasting process and will see the successful candidate being included and interacting in senior financial meetings. The organisation has free on-site parking and is easily accessible due to their close proximity to transport hubs.

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be involved in senior meetings and included in the budgeting and forecasting process where after training, you will be leading a portion of these meetings and interacting with budget holders. A portion of this role will see you completing the management account packs for your department, including producing detailed variance analysis and working with the P&L. This organisation has a fantastic progression route for its staff and senior management are always looking for ways to help their staff develop and succeed during their time in their role.
Skills Required
- To have experience with the production of management accounts. This is a fundamental part of this position and it is important to be confident when working with the P&L and to have exposure with budgeting and forecasting.
- To be confident and charismatic. This position will see you involved with financial meetings with senior stakeholders. It is important to be able to represent yourself properly.
- To be currently studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have passed a number of these examinations.
- To be ambitious and driven, this role provides some fantastic opportunities for an individual who is able to take on new responsibilities and excel in their role.
