We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Woking. This role involves teaching students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing them with a high-quality language education and fostering a love for Spanish culture and language.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, ensuring alignment with curriculum guidelines.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop and implement interactive learning methods and resources to maintain student interest and engagement.
- Maintain classroom discipline, upholding school policies and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school training events, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Continuously update teaching practices and materials in response to new research and educational trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
- Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level, specifically KS3 and KS4.
- Strong understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
- Excellent classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, colleagues, and parents.
