The Role

The newly created role of Credit Controller is a stand-alone position within the divisional flagship reporting to the Division Financial Controller. It's a very soft form of credit control with very limited problematic debts or accounts. It requires an individual with great attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a persistent nature to ensure invoices are paid in a swift manner.

The Divisional Financial Controller doesn't believe in micromanagement and prides themselves on providing a very autonomous & trusting culture. They are also willing to offer excellent creative license capability for the successful candidate to review & develop processes, procedures, controls & systems. The key components of the role will include:

  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
  • Chasing of outstanding invoices
  • Debtor ledger management & reporting
  • Sales ledger invoicing
  • Payment & cash allocation
  • Customer account management including reconciliations, monthly statements & bank receipts
  • Creating, maintaining and updating of customer accounts
  • Periodic and ad-hoc reporting
