FP&A Manager Housing

The LHH Accountancy & Finance team are proud to be partnering with a medium sized housing association to recruit for a Financial Planning Manager to join the team.

The role will be responsible for all aspects of financial and non-financial reporting across the Group. The position will also involve the preparation of financial models and meaningful analysis for board reporting, strategic business decisions and financial forecasts. This key role is crucial in assessing impacts of decisions on longer term performance and investment for the company business plan.

This role is based near High Wycombe, however the client is happy for this role to be taken on a mainly remote basis with expectation to be in the office once a month.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of 4 accountants on a daily basis.
  • Taking the lead on all aspects relating to potential new business combinations and collaborations and understanding how they impact on the wider group.
  • Support the Head of Finance & Treasury in production, update and review of the Group Business Plan and assess project and operating proposals against the business plan.
  • Creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across the Group.
  • Supporting the business partners in their work with budget holders and managers throughout the year in forecasting expenditure and reconcile the total expenditure for the organisation.
  • Management of the Group's investment decisions by ensuring that the correct assumptions are included in the financial appraisals of development schemes and other projects.
  • Monitoring of the Group's cash flow and supporting the Treasury Accountant on all aspects relating to loan portfolio and security.
  • Reviewing and overseeing the production of the regular management information to the Board, Executive Team and budget holders.
  • Compilation of the monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and end of year audit are comprehensive, accurate and timely.

This role requires the individual to hold a recognised finance qualification and ideally exposure to long term financial planning using BRIXX.
