Posted by Spencer Clarke Group.

Spencer Clarke Group are looking for Cover Supervisors to join to work within secondary schools across Manchester.

Expected Duties will include:

  • Managing student behaviour to ensure they stay focused on the assigned tasks.
  • Answering student questions during the lesson.
  • Handling immediate issues or emergencies according to school policies and procedures.
  • Reporting any problems or behavioural issues as per school policies.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence in leading a class and managing challenging behaviour.
  • Experience working with children or young people in any setting, including volunteer work or placements - not essential but certainly is beneficial.
  • Adaptability and confidence.
  • Background experiences which would certainly help you in this role would be; sport coaching, holiday clubs, dance instructor, swimming instructor or interested in becoming a teacher.
