We are looking to hire someone with ambition who wishes to better themselves and help make this the number one home in West Yorkshire! Support the Registered Manager in providing leadership for the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services of the setting, and deputise during absences.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • The efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team and ensuring that the required standards are maintained
  • Ensure all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date on RADAR & the PCS
  • To ensure all staff within the service receive support from regular formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Oversee the duty rota monthly in advance, ensuring the correct number of staff and skill mix as needed and agreed with the Manager & NI.
  • Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
  • Develop effective working relationships with all employees within the service
  • Assist with the effective recruitment of staff
  • Induct new starters in accordance with company policy
  • Lead, motivate and direct staff
  • Develop staff to their full potential, ensuring succession planning for the service
  • Ensure multidisciplinary team working is embedded in the service
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for people in the service
  • Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with both the service users and their families/friends

We're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role, providing high levels of support to the registered manager and all staff, and excellent care to service users
  • Great Communication with an excellent level of English - written and verbal
  • Fantastic Problem-solving Skills
  • Ability to adapt and address situations quickly
  • Plan, develop, implement and assess approaches to promote health and wellbeing
