HR Assistant/Administrator

  • Full or Part-time (37.5 or 30 hours per week)
  • Location: Norwich but will involve travel to other sites
  • Salary: £26,775 / £13.73 per hour
  • Duration - 3 months, possibly longer

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant/Administrator to join our charitable organisation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR disciplines, systems, and processes, and will support the wider HR function in a variety of tasks. This role is perfect for someone with a background in HR who is looking to make a positive impact within a charity.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the HR team by setting up confidential meetings, taking notes during these meetings, and typing up the notes.
  • Assist with the restructuring and consultation processes, providing administrative support where necessary.
  • Help manage the HR team's meetings and mail inbox, ensuring efficient and organised communication.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete tasks effectively.
  • If experienced with People HR software, provide additional support in this area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of HR experience.
  • Understanding of wider HR disciplines, systems, and processes.
  • Experience in supporting the wider HR function with administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with restructuring and consultation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience with People HR software is a bonus but not essential.
  • Driver due to some visits at other sites
