Eaton Syalon are keen to attract a qualified Accountant to join our client as Group Management Accountant. Our client is a leading global manufacturer based in Derbyshire. If you are a commercially focused Management Accountant keen to work as part of a dynamic finance team we would love to hear from you. This role is integral to our clients financial planning and analysis function, providing key insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial data across our clients global operations, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis, and supporting the management team with critical financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for the group.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insightful commentary on variances.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead the financial implementation of the ERP system globally, including USA, and Europe.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and coordinate audits.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Liaise with regional professional advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting and tax compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis for various projects as required.
Requirements:
The role is suited to Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in group finance and management ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will work incredibly closely with key operations stakeholders so a strong commercial awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are all important.
