Network Architect - Children's Charity!

A brand new and exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Network Architect to join the biggest Childrens Charity in the UK!!

Lead the design and implementation of secure and efficient infrastructure and cloud systems to support our cloud-first strategy. Ensure data security, system reliability, and cost-effective operations while reducing on-premises footprint by leveraging scalable cloud solutions.

Define and execute transformation processes, design secure network architectures, and align with best practices to balance user experience and value. Provide guidance to technical teams, manage vendor relationships, and represent the organization externally.

Architect and implement cloud networks and infrastructure, primarily within Microsoft technologies. Develop strategic cloud roadmaps, ensure seamless system integration, and support key strategic programs, including identity and MFA system migrations. Stay current with emerging technologies.

Skills that are required for a Network Architect are:

  • Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud systems, minimizing on-premises footprint.
  • Network Architecture: Develop robust, secure, and compliant network architectures, focusing on data security and system reliability.
  • Transformation Processes: Define and execute infrastructure transformation processes in alignment with best practices and stakeholder needs.
  • Vendor & Team Management: Guide technical teams, manage vendor relationships, and represent the organization in external forums.
