Communications Manager

Hybrid- Potential office days either in Edinburgh/Manchester/London

This role is for an experienced Communications Programme Manager to input into key management decisions & communicating prioritised strategic messages from the Programme Director to their employees & stakeholders, ensuring a clear and consistent narrative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating Data Cloud X comms strategy
- Planning stakeholder engagement with comms strategy
- Implement comms strategy
- Engaging with CDIO's to jointly create communications outside of D&A
Although Resource would be described as a programme / project manager role profile, we are looking for a Comms skillset. Able to:
- Refer to best practices for comms components - and be prepared to roll these out ASAP.
- Obtain feedback and continuously improve approach to comms.
- Draw on experience within the Financial Services industry.
- Handover programme comms strategy to programme BAU (Likely a C9, grade below) within a 6m window as the goal.
- Manage stakeholder expectations with regards to comms strategy.
This role is a short term role (hence non perm) and seen as crucial to enable the successful delivery of the Data Cloud X Programme deliverables. A senior, experienced Communication Lead is required to ensure key programme stakeholders are engaged throughout the programme delivery roadmap, helping to ensure successful delivery.
A full handover / knowledge transfer will be completed ahead of exit.
