Temporary Maintenance Operative, London SE1 - £15.38ph
Monday to Friday – 9am to 5.30pm – Weekly Pay
We are working alongside a boutique housing client based in SE1 London, who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their friendly team managing 70 properties.
You will be responsible for keeping the properties maintained to a high standard and fix any faults that should arise.
Duties:
- General plumbing duties.
- Unblocking sinks, toilets etc.
- Siliconing sinks.
- Fixing faucet leaks.
- Repairing holes in walls.
- Installing new light bulbs.
- Fitting new carpets/flooring.
- Fixing broken furniture.
- Painting and decorating.
- Repair and maintain property facilities.
- All round basic maintenance duties where required.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience as a Maintenance Operative/Hanydman.
- Experience in basic plumbing.
- Proven experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment or as a general builder/residential construction in the following trades: plumber, electrician, or carpenter.
- Work well as a team or individually.
- Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
- Positive attitude and ability to use initiative.
- Helpful, friendly with a professional manner.
