Equifind are pleased to have partnered with a private equity firm in London, who are looking for some interim fund accounting support to assist them during a period of change.

Key duties and responsibilities for this senior fund accountant position include:

  • Review of monthly and quarterly accounts at Fund, Holdco and SPV levels
  • Management of the outsourced fund administrators
  • Responsible for managing audit process to deliver accurate year end statutory accounts within the reporting timetable for designated funds and holdcos.
  • Cash flow analysis: working with Investment Managers on monitoring project spend.
  • Prepare regular fund performance reporting to monitor cash deployed, project cost trackers, investor returns.
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate periodic investor reporting statements.
  • Responding to Investor and Fund related queries from the IR within a timely manner
  • Continual review of processes across designated areas to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in design and implementation of best practice escalating to line manager as relevant. Maintenance of the Operating Manuals.
  • Responding to Fund-related queries from other departments in the business.
  • Ad-hoc project work as and when needed by senior management

Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant 5-8 years'PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Experience of fund accounting and valuations
  • Previous experience of private equity would be beneficial
  • Strong excel and communication skills
  • Experience of process improvement and documentation
  • Ability to work on own accord and deliver reports in a timely manner

An international private equity firm with a varied focus on investment lines across Europe. The business has grown considerably over the last few years, and they have over $4bn of assets under management.

With an international footprint across multiple countries, you will be joining a diverse organisation that invests globally and is looking at opportunities and expansion all the time.

Reporting directly into the CFO you will instrumental in the team with a new fund raise just around the corner, implementing new strategies and huge involvement in deal origination.

This is an office-based role in London and requires you to be in with the team, 5 days per week.

Daily Rate

This exciting opportunity for a senior fund accountant will pay between £90-£100k, depending on your experience and background.

We are looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible and have earmarked a minimum 12 month assignment length.
