Role Description

Th is a full-time remote role for a Training & Competence Supervisor working with a community of advisers at varying stages in their careers.

In the main, this role will be home based working via online solutions though some travel and occasional visits to the Northern based HQ will be required

The Training & Competence Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing training and development, professional competence, CAS sign off and maintenance, providing guidance to advisers on best practice, soft skills and ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards to ensure positive consumer outcomes.

There will also be some audit work on site with clients to ensure their systems and controls are adequate and marry up with the prescribed T&C scheme and risk management parameters.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Supervisory Skills, Communication, and Training & Development in Financial Services - ideally with IFA's
  • Audit experience and able to report on systems, controls and processes
  • Experience in Training and Customer Service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and organised with a good grasp of technology and systems
  • Experience in IFA side of financial services industry is a plus
  • Diploma qualified, CeMap or equiv. progress towards Chartered would be advantageous but not essential
