Finance Asst - 12 mth FTC - Bournemouth - to £27K pro rata

A Finance Administrator is being recruited for a 12 month FTC in Bournemouth. The organisation is going through a period of exciting change so this is a great time to join the team and with a possibility of permanent in the future. The hours would be 28-30 per week all office based, but with flexibility as to how these can be worked.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Administrator will have responsibility for:

  • identifying all bank transactions and that these are correctly recorded in the finance system and will involve liaising internally to collate the correct information
  • ensuring that VAT is correctly recorded
  • ensuring that sales invoices raised outside finance are correctly recorded
  • month end bank reconciliations
  • administration of credit card terminals
  • maintain signatory mandates and update as necessary

You will need to have accounts/banking experience, have good IT skills particularly with Word and Excel and have a high attention to detail. Knowledge of Exchequer system would be an advantage but not essential.
