Trainee Cable Moulding Technician Great Yarmouth Full Time, Permanent
Our client, a leading provider of innovative services to the offshore energy industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Cable Moulder to join their growing team in Great Yarmouth.
In this role, you will be responsible for the precise wiring, termination, and moulding of cables and connectors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard in a fast-paced environment. You will interpret wiring diagrams, use electrical test equipment, and prepare materials and parts in line with company procedures. Your commitment to safety, particularly in handling chemicals (COSHH), and your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the wiring, termination, and moulding of cables/connectors with precision.
- Accurately interpret wiring diagrams to complete tasks.
- Utilize electrical test equipment effectively.
- Prepare materials and components following established procedures.
- Inspect cables and generate detailed reports.
- Promote and adhere to all safe working practices and company policies.
While previous soldering experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. What matters most is your proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
