Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Science to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This is a full-time position starting in September 2024, designed for a passionate educator ready to inspire the next generation of scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of A-Level teaching for the right candidate.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learning styles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the science curriculum.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or school trips, to enhance the students' learning experience.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Science.
  • Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the sciences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
