Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher with Subject Responsibility

Position Details:
- Role: EYFS Teacher with Subject Responsibility
- Location: Southwark, South East London
- Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term
- Start Date: 9th of September 2024
- Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) - Upper Pay Scale (UPS). A TLR allowance is available for candidates selected to lead Mathematics or another core subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Develop and implement an engaging and innovative EYFS curriculum.
- Take on additional responsibility for a core subject, with the opportunity to lead and drive improvements in Mathematics or another core area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support to ensure all children achieve their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in the EYFS.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early years education.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to professional development and a desire to take on additional subject responsibility.
- Experience in leading or contributing to the development of a core subject is desirable but not essential.
