Description

The Data Protection Manager will report into the CEO & the CTO and be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures
  • Overseeing all data protection initiatives and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws
  • Leading the response to any data breaches or issues
  • Communicating with staff and stakeholders about data protection matters
  • Advising the organisation on data protection obligations
  • Managing internal data protection activities
  • Training staff on data protection guidelines and practices
  • Maintaining records of all data protection activities

Profile

A successful Data Protection Manager should have:

  • A degree in Law, IT, or a related field
  • Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and practices
