Trainee Auditor

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a hugely successful, market leading business who are looking to add a Trainee Auditor to their team. With a company turnover of well over £1billion, this is an outstanding opportunity not to be missed!

Based in Knutsford, you'll be joining their operational audit team, going on operational visits, conducting stock-taking, analysing the business processes and preparing reports. You will be an integral member of the audit team, ensuring that organisational goals and objectives are met.

Following your initial training period (6-9 months) you will progress to a Field Auditor role and receive a salary increase to £28,000+. In the future, there will be opportunities to progress into other commercial roles or develop your career within the audit department. Other trainees who have completed this programme have progressed into high-level roles within Audit, Credit Management and Accounts.

As a Trainee Auditor, in addition to the top training provided (specialist audit training, skills training in various business fields, one-on-one mentoring from an experienced colleague and visiting locations across the UK) you can also expect the following benefits:

  • A confident and professional graduate or someone with a minimum of 1 year's previous work experience
  • Personable, with excellent communication skills
  • Willing to travel regularly throughout the UK (driving licence is essential)
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with data
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel
  • Quick learners with excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Well-presented and able to impress at business meetings
