Acoustic Consultant
My client provides acoustic consultancy services for all phases of a construction project in line with RIBA guidelines. Their offerings encompass strategy reviews, assessments of architectural drawings, design advice, noise evaluations for planning, and UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing. They offer solutions for various infrastructure projects like rail and highway networks, as well as tall structures such as buildings, masts, and towers.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
- Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA status
- Capability to address any technical issues that may arise during assessments
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects while closely collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle
- Prior experience in project planning and report preparation for project applications
Responsibilities:
- Adjust project plans and designs to ensure compliance with client specifications and statutory guidance
- Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure adherence to British standards and building regulations at all project stages
- Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could impact project completion and timelines
