Currently working with a fantastic Client based in Oldham who are looking for a Supply Chain Support Planner to join their team.
Working hours are - Full time, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
Working within a dynamic Supply Chain team, you will support the delivery of a fantastic services to our customers through outstanding availability and inventory control with a consistent focus on driving supply chain performance.
Profile:
The ideal candidate will
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively manage constraints
- Be the main point of contact for the backhaul process, liaising with planners/transport/external partners to prioritise loads based on the needs of the planners
- Manage and prioritise all customer inbound to make decisions based on current SOH/Forecast/external factors/contractual agreements to ensure demurrage changes are kept to a minimum
- Continue to improve and develop effective ways of working
- Be effectively involved in a variety of supply chain projects, initiatives and wider business initiatives including, new contract introduction and migration opportunities
There will be a requirement to track and report Key Performance Indicators, including availability, inventory, promotions, events management and general continuous improvements
Specific accountabilities include:
- The ability to balance inbound priorities with depot capacity
- Prioritising appropriate purchase orders
- Proactive engagement with supplies ensuring booking slots are secured and deliveries arrive as required.
