Head of Strategic Marketing

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm

Location: Hyde Park, London (Hybrid working)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with a minimum of five years' experience and a proven track record to join Chestertons and Campions' established marketing team as the Head of Strategic Marketing.

Reporting directly to the Group's Marketing Director and working alongside the Group's Brand team, they will lead a talented digital/performance marketing team to develop, implement and track lead generation initiatives for multiple estate agency brands under the Campions Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor the changing requirements of each department (Sales, Lettings, Property Management, New Homes) and sub-department (including Short Lets, Private Office, and 'Prime') and develop suitable marketing campaigns, solutions, content and collateral to help them achieve their objectives
  • Work closely with the senior operational directors to support the delivery of strategic objectives
  • Lead the creation of new - and update existing - marketing content and collateral to help meet marketing objectives. This will involve working across numerous marketing channels including direct mail, email, social media, web and print.
  • Manage the messaging of the business' external communications, working alongside our PR agency
  • Analyse and leverage market data and industry news to devise effective client communications
  • Gather and utilise customer insight to develop and improve marketing messages, campaigns and collateral
  • Work closely with our Data Analyst to track the effectiveness of campaigns and identify new opportunities
  • Work alongside the existing management team to manage and mentor our team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and creativity.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimise results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, integrating new approaches into our marketing efforts.

Attributes:

  • A creative thinker, able to solve problems and react to changes quickly, efficiently and reliably
  • At least three years' experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Experience of working for a premium brand/brands
  • Outstanding copywriting skills
  • Strong visual creativity
  • High level of confidence, able to communicate clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Highly organised and capable of managing a large number of concurrent tasks in what can sometimes be a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to analyse campaign performances
  • Proactive rather than reactive (in ideas, opportunities, campaigns)
