Role Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join its team. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this pivotal role involves overseeing financial operations and managing a small team of direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Managing financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Supervising and mentoring a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Performing ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
- Proven experience in a managerial finance role, ideally within the sports or wellness industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
