Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team in the East Midlands area. As a Lead Engineer, you will be overseeing the installation, service, and maintenance of fire and security systems in commercial properties, while ensuring that all work is carried out to British standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms in commercial properties.
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to high standards.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support to customers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and British standards in all engineering activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of fire and security systems, with a focus on commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
- Leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in fire and security systems.
Day-to-Day
- Leading and overseeing engineering projects in the East Midlands area.
- Managing the team's schedule and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Conducting regular site visits and providing technical expertise to the team.
- Liaising with clients and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implementing and maintaining health and safety standards in all engineering activities.
