The role:

    • Process high volume transactions with speed, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Leading and managing the team to deliver a proactive, highly skilled and engaged team, providing 1st class service to our customers and strong support to the business.

  • Develop daily, weekly and monthly processes to significantly improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.

  • Support improvements in the business IT and finance systems – particularly in relation to efficiency and ease of use for operators and specifically eradicating manual processes and eliminating the risk of material error.

  • Delivery of core tasks as per the service level agreement and standard task time.

  • Perform reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of variances, liaising with 3rd parties as required within required deadlines.

  • Manage shared mailboxes and other information received by post or any other method.

  • Prepare, obtain approval and process journals.

  • Work as a team to deliver departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets.

  • Build highly effective working relationships with other departments to maintain the highest level of service to our customers.

  • Identify barriers to achieving targets and collaborate in problem solving sessions in order to remove those barriers.

  • Identify new and improved ways of working to drive efficiency and effectiveness, eliminating non-value added tasks to create capacity for value added ones.

  • Proactively participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

  • Adapt and respond to the continuous change needed to support the growing demands of the business and marketplace.

  • Deliver 1st class service to customers both internally and externally.

  • On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.

  • You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.

  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail

  • Experience of high volume transactional process management

  • Experience of working to strict financial controls and deadlines ideally within a Shared Service Centre

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc)

  • Passionate about and committed to high quality and 1st class customer service

  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a trustworthy and confidential capacity

  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude

  • Resilient and able to manage change effectively

  • Ability to be a strong role model through knowledge, commitment and passion; contributing constructively to positive engagement across the team

  • Ambition to further their career within finance and study for a financial qualification

  • Our parks require 7 day support therefore the successful candidate must be flexible to work occasional weekends
