We are seeking a part-qualified Semi-Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team within a general practice firm. With a diverse client base spanning media, professional services, medical, overseas, high net worth individuals, and technology sectors, this role offers a broad range of opportunities for professional growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Directly engage with clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- Prepare and review Income Tax and Corporation Tax computations.
- Compile ltd company and sole trader accounts.
- Manage VAT returns and related queries.
- Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to deliver comprehensive accounting services.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying opportunities for process improvement and client engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years'+ experience in a practice environment.
- Part-qualified ACCA or ACA.
- Strong knowledge of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, ltd company accounts, sole trader accounts, and VAT.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and deal with clients directly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
