Summary

We're looking for a Ecommerce Assistant Manager - Operations to join our team.

You'll assist the E-commerce Manager and wider team in the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce online shop. Ensuring that the online shop is a key source of engagement, and the customer experience is seamless from start to finish.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the e-commerce manager, you'll be part of a small team working from home, with at least one day dedicated to working from our head office, based in Swindon.

We want you to learn, discover and develop your career. And we'll do everything we can to offer you the training and support you need to achieve your goals.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the e-commerce manager and teams across various departments, you'll be the ambassador for the e-commerce channel.

As part of this role, you'll work closely with the buying and merchandising team to grow the retail offer, by providing data for analysis and assisting in the planning and management of product photography.

You'll also have the chance to monitor customer feedback and regularly research our competitors, as this will be an essential part in keeping the online shop looking fresh and replenished.

It doesn't end there, you will also be managing and building relationships with our fulfilment agency, and call centre teams. Assisting in the creation of operational processes which optimise efficiencies, deliver great customer service, drive income, and reduce costs.
