Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Officer to join a client based South of Cambridge.
This is a full time position, office based 5 days a week.
For this role our client is looking to pay in the region of £38,000. There is flex for an exceptional candidate.
Main Duties:
- Preparation of Permits to Work
- Assist site with implementation of isolation procedures
- Internal and external audits
- Conduct EHS training
- Systems checks and inspection
- Coordinating site Mechanical safety
- Assist Compliance manager with system and process improvements across EHS
- Provide advice in site HAZID/HAZOP activities
Attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or chemical environment
- Supervisory level of Safety Qualification or working towards
- Proactive, hands on
- Auditing experience
- Conversant with EH&S regulations
- Qualification in H&S
