Insight Executive Group is proud to partner with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to source outstanding candidates for the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme (HHRP). This is a truly unique opportunity to lead digital innovation at the forefront of healthcare transformation. We are seeking an experienced Digital Workstream Lead who will play a key role in driving digital strategy and optimising healthcare processes for the HHRP.

As the Digital Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the digital infrastructure needed to support the state-of-the-art smart hospital. This includes integrating cutting-edge technologies, establishing scalable IT systems, and ensuring patient care is enhanced through digital solutions. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the success of the new Hospital 2.0, which is designed to revolutionise healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
As the Digital Workstream Lead, you will:

  • Lead Digital Transformation: Oversee the planning and development of a digital strategy that integrates modern technologies into the hospital's operations, improving efficiency and patient care.
  • Infrastructure Development: Establish scalable IT infrastructure to support the Trust's digital initiatives and future growth, ensuring seamless integration with the new hospital design.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks and healthcare IT standards (HL7 / FHIR), while prioritising data privacy and security.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, the digital team, and external vendors to align digital requirements with clinical needs and operational strategies.
  • Training and Support: Develop training programs for staff to ensure they are fully equipped to use new digital tools and systems.
  • Leadership and Influence: Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leadership teams and executive boards on digital infrastructure priorities and progress.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT professional with:

  • Digital Leadership: Proven track record in digital transformation, ideally within the healthcare sector, including experience in implementing IT systems for large-scale projects.
  • Strategic Vision: Expertise in developing digital strategies that align with organisational goals, particularly in complex environments such as the NHS.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to build relationships across diverse teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, interoperability standards, and digital healthcare solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading the procurement and management of digital services, with the ability to handle large contracts and negotiations.
