Role: Transport Planner
Location: Dunstable
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Transport Planner to join our client's successful team.

The role:
- Optimize routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Plan and coordinate movement within our fleet
- Day to day management of drivers, rota, including holidays, sickness management
- Work with subcontractors to supplement own fleet and meet customers' requirements
- Monitor vehicle performance, strong focus on H&S, compliance
- Provide excellent customer service and communication at all levels
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience as Transport planner for Heavy Goods,
- Experience using Excel and cloud-based documents
- Working knowledge of WTD, Road Transport regulations, FORS
- Geographical knowledge of the UK road network
- CPC qualification preferable
- Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply Company Values and Policies
- Full UK driving Licence (you may need to attend client visits)
