Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B27 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024 start
LTF Recruitment is searching for a calm and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed partner primary school situated in Acock's green. This fulfilling role provides an opportunity to make a significant difference in the classroom, playing a vital role supporting the teacher to maintain a productive and positive environment. The school is looking for the right candidate to join them on a long-term basis, and for the right candidate the school is looking to make this role permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the education and development of children in a dedicated classroom environment.
- Providing support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom.
- Conducting small group intervention sessions and offering phonics support.
- Ensuring every child has the best chance to reach their full potential in a nurturing and safe environment.
What we are looking for:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Experience working with students individually and in small groups, as well as leading intervention sessions to support their education.
- Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
