An organisation who are a leader in their niche field are looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join the finance team in Bishop's Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently studying ACCA/CIMA who is an accomplished finance professional looking for a role where they can become a Finance Director in the mid-term.
Your new role
This position is reporting and supporting the Finance Director, with a view to eventually becoming the FD. It is very varied as they are currently a relatively small organisation, so you will work closely with the MD and have exposure to all elements of running a successful business. The company are able to offer you the opportunity to gain further exposure in accounts, study support for your remaining exams and a busy, varied role. This is a great opportunity for anyone part qualified and studying at present who wants to get their foot in the door somewhere to get to that next stage of their career.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have current working experience in accounts, be confident with management accounts, accounts to TB and still be happy overseeing the AP/AR team, be willing to learn and have excellent attention to detail. You will need to be studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
