We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our children's residential facility, supporting individuals with learning disabilities (LD) and emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in children's residential care and a passion for leadership.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the operation of the residential home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the best outcomes for the residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the residents.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with LD and EBD.
  • Engage with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and services.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the home, promoting best practices in residential care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a driver with access to own transport.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in children's residential care.
  • At least two years of experience as a Deputy Manager (DM) or Registered Manager (RM).
  • Must hold a Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYPW).
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
