Your new role
Our client is seeking a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to drive innovation and excellence. As a Senior Leader of their team, you will have the opportunity to prioritize and escalate critical issues, ensuring that their operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve building and managing diverse teams, often delving into areas beyond your initial expertise, fostering a culture of learning and adaptability. You will be instrumental in reviewing and enhancing their systems, making strategic decisions that will leverage our technology and services to new heights.
In this role, your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be paramount. You will work autonomously, trusted to make independent decisions that align with the company's vision. Communication is at the heart of what they do, and you will ensure that there is a constant, proactive flow between stakeholders and process owners. Your responsibilities will include leading weekly project review calls, maintaining alignment with business requirements, and ensuring that our goals are met on time. You will collaborate closely with headquarters management for operational planning, setting goals, and negotiating resource allocation to drive their projects forward.

As a senior figure, you will develop and maintain high-performing teams, hiring and training individuals who meet their high standards and managing their performance to ensure continued success. Your integrity and ethical approach to business will align with the company policies and practices, as you direct and guide the team towards achieving departmental and company objectives. Your flexibility and willingness to embrace new challenges will be key, as will your ability to forge effective relationships across cultures and levels. In this role, confidentiality, trustworthiness, and a deep understanding of team and people management are essential. You will be a cornerstone in assisting management to develop strategies that yield tangible results, with your regular attendance being vital to their collective success.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is on the lookout for a candidate with a proven track record in delivering results through effective people, business, and operations management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, which are crucial for managing customer interactions during critical events. The ability to work under tight deadlines and a foundational knowledge of electronic components are highly desired.Your skill set should include creative writing, proofreading, and editing, alongside the capability to manage multiple departmental activities simultaneously. We value candidates who exhibit strong analytical and organisational skills, are detailed and thorough in their work habits, and have the multi-tasking ability to analyze the impact of decisions before execution.
Furthermore, excellent communication and telephone etiquette, the capacity to engage with people at all levels, and a positive attitude are essential. Professionalism is key, as you will interface directly with business contacts and represent Mouser Electronics. Proficiency in a PC environment, particularly with Microsoft Office applications and fluency in the English language, both verbal and written, are required. A valid passport and the availability for US travel are also necessary.At least 3 years in a supervisory or higher-level management position is expected. Additionally, over 10 years of experience in Information Technology will set you apart in this role.
