Overview -
Reporting to the Managing Director the successful professional will manage the full quality function, whilst executing a quality vision that supports the overall business strategy.
Quality Director responsibilities include -
- Support plant process reviews and deal with customer/supplier-related concerns.
- Implement quality strategies to improve business performance, meet objectives, and mitigate risks.
- Oversee quality systems, ensuring compliance with standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure quality processes are in place to achieve operational excellence and meet requirements.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
Quality Director desirable skills and experience -
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, and CI/lean methodologies.
- Experience of driving quality improvements and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
- Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
