Located near the Solihull area, this company is working through a considerable period of growth and is looking for someone, with full autonomy to do so will help drive quality excellence.

Overview -

Reporting to the Managing Director the successful professional will manage the full quality function, whilst executing a quality vision that supports the overall business strategy.

Quality Director responsibilities include -

  • Support plant process reviews and deal with customer/supplier-related concerns.
  • Implement quality strategies to improve business performance, meet objectives, and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee quality systems, ensuring compliance with standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure quality processes are in place to achieve operational excellence and meet requirements.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.

Quality Director desirable skills and experience -

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, and CI/lean methodologies.
  • Experience of driving quality improvements and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
  • Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
