Your pay rate as a full time Logistic support Worker:
You will be paid £11.64 per hour
Typical working hours a full time Logistic support Worker:
You will be working Monday to Friday on the day shift from 08:00 until 16:00
Duties as a Logistic support Worker:
- Unloading and loading vehicles manually
- Unloading and loading vehicles with logistic equipment
- Movement & control of production materials within the manufacturing department (primarily focusing on R2 stores but could be called upon to work in any manufacturing department if required)
- Receive and locate stock with the warehouse data system
- Inspect incoming stock for defects and damages
- Complete relevant paperwork accurately
- Use of scanning system
- Bay control and despatch paperwork completion
- PIP Checks / weekly/ monthly & year end stock checking
- Proactive approach to minimising unnecessary wastage both time and materials
- Use of Sandes/Dejwint & Microsoft
- Ensure safety checks are completed and signed
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained to designated area
- H&S, ISO and AEO standards are met and maintained
- Ensure when required P.P.E. be always worn
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Must have knowledge of logistics and warehousing
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Organised. Warehouse equipment FLT licenses
- Good attendance and disciplinary record
- Flexible work attitude
- Approachable, able to work to deadlines
- ability to prioritise
- ability to work as part of a team & ability to work on own initiative
