An established law firm in the centre of Guildford, is looking to grow their team. The successful candidate will support fee earners by providing a range of administrative and legal services, focusing on Probate and Property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Pay in any banking.

Check telephone answer machine and record messages and telephone numbers.

Check emails for enquiries.
-
Assist fee earners in relation to Probate, Property and other areas, to include:

Audio typing.
-
Opening files.
-
Managing time recording.
-
Photocopying and scanning.
-
Filing.
-
Add appointments onto Outlook diary.
-
Completing HM Revenue & Customs Inheritance Tax forms.
-
Drafting Oaths and other documents for Probate applications.
-
Making applications for Grants of Probate.
-
Drafting letters to clients.
-
Speaking with clients and other parties on the telephone in relation to specific matters.
-
Dealing with Land Registry services, OCE's, Leases, Priority searches, Bankruptcy searches.

Answering the phones.
-
Answering the door and greeting clients.
-
Update Access database.
-
Organise and send out the Christmas Newsletter and Calendar.

LMS administration and renewal.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Experience within a legal environment.
- Audio typing skills.
- Probate experience.
- Knowledge of accounts.
- Excellent telephone manner.
