A visionary B2C brand leader in the FMCG industry is searching for an E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee operations across their online marketplace!

By challenging convention and pushing for constant innovation, they've been able to capture a unique niche with virtually no challengers.Now with a strong presence in the market, they need an experienced eComm expert with a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and a strategic mindset to drive cost reductions and efficiencies across the wider business and their inhouse marketplace.

Salary £35k - £40k + 10% bonus | Hybrid 3 days in Cheshire

What you'll be doing:

  • Keep the brand's online store running smoothly.
  • Ensure orders are filled correctly and delivered on time.
  • Work with other teams to give customers a great experience.
  • Track how well the online store is doing and make improvements.
  • Create clear instructions for everyone.
  • Work with suppliers, factories, and delivery companies to get what you need.
  • Manage how products get where they need to go and keep track of supplies.
  • Find ways to optimise processes and ROI without reducing product quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure a strict adherence to the regulatory requirements
  • Develop plans to make things run smoother and cheaper for both the store and product division.
  • Ensure alignment is achieved across all core teams.
  • Use data to figure out the best decisions for the business.
  • Manage budgets, predict how much of something will be needed, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Identify and fix any problems in processes

Core skills needed to succeed:

  • MUST HAVE: exposure to the FMCG market with a particular focus on drinks & beverages
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field in business operations or logistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce fulfilment, production logistics, or a combination of both.
  • Demonstrated success in managing intricate supply chains and optimising operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to leverage data insights for informed decision-making.
  • Superior organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and inventory management software systems.
  • Working knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
