Working Pattern: Full Time (9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday)

Our client, a leading distribution organisation, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team. In this temporary position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Purchase Ledger team and ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Purchase Ledger team in managing all supplier invoices in accordance with our client's policies and procedures.
  • Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Resolve invoice queries promptly and effectively.
  • Post invoices and obtain necessary approval for sign off.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers, avoiding any inaccuracies.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in an accounts department is preferred.
  • Customer service skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Pay: £11.79 per hour
