Marketing Executive

Your New Role

This role supports the Marketing Manager within the UKI strategy & planning team, supporting UK&I specialist areas of recruitment and business units. The role will focus on implementing customer-focused marketing plans that drive business growth, customer retention, and engagement through various products and marketing programmes.

Strategy and Planning

  • Support with the implementation of marketing strategies with business units, department channels, and other support functions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, content, digital, and events teams to support sector-specific campaigns.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in creating customer-focused marketing plans aligned with specialism and business unit objectives, products, systems, and national campaigns.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across partnership agreements with various specialist institutions, ensuring deliverables are met including content, events, and digital assets for optimal outcomes.
  • Help execute pilot initiatives and integrate them into department channels as standard practice.
  • Ensure promotional assets are created on time for successful campaign launches, coordinating closely with relevant teams such as studio.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure they are involved and delivering on required actions, ensuring high standards in marketing activities.
  • Develop promotional toolkits, content, and collateral to ensure consistent communication throughout campaign launches and activities across all relevant specialisms and business units.
  • Work closely with Data and Optimisation teams to monitor campaign tracking and reporting, raising findings with the manager to inform strategic decisions.

Project Management

  • Support the timely delivery of planned customer programmes.
  • Understand detailed briefing documents and deliver effective department channel plans, summarising clear timelines and actions.
  • Assist in creating detailed project plans to ensure programmes are delivered on time and track progress.
  • Ensure department channels are aligned and deliver actions according to agreed schedules.
  • Communicate effectively across department channels, business units, and support functions.
  • Use project management software to manage tasks and deadlines across customer programmes.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Provide regular updates, host status update meetings, and use project management software and calendar tools to ensure efficient communication and scheduling.
  • Maintain effective cross-functional collaboration with support functions, including Front Office systems, Learning & Development, IT, and Legal when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders both internal and external.

Evaluation and Reporting

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to set objectives, KPIs, and targets for evaluating programme success.
  • Coordinate with channel teams to ensure consistent channel reporting.
  • Use tools like PowerBI, Google Analytics, and Excel to analyse performance data.
  • Offer insights and recommendations for optimisation based on data analysis.

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects and customer programmes.
  • Experience in implementing strategic marketing plans.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Experience rolling out successful products/systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of marketing products.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C Marketing.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Experience working with specialist marketing teams.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry or relevant industries such as professional services.
